I will start this out by being completely blunt; it is really hard to sell your old kids stuff. Most of the stuff I had accumulated had come from well-wishers who had basically given all their boys stuff to us anyway. I started selling a few months back. Read more…

Hmm it looks like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it
up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.

I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything.
Do you have any points for novice blog writers?
    I’d really appreciate it.

Write and post as much as you can and keep at it, it can be very discouraging and difficult at first.

Hi – Just wanted to say that I am enjoying your blog as well. I went in search of some money saving tips for busy working moms, and — as usual — most of the mom blogs I have come across this afternoon are nauseatingly self promoting brag fests. I just don’t get this trend. It keeps me off of most parenting sites, Facebook, Pinterest, mom blogs, etc.

Any tips gained do not equate to the amount of mental energy expended by feelings of inadequacy after reading them. Anyway, thanks for not being “on trend” with this peculiar, current tendency. Thanks.

(P.S. Another ailment to add to your tea tree oil list — warts! My daughter had a gross wart problem on the back of one of her toes this summer and tea tree oil seemed to cure it in record time).
